Role Purpose Contribute to Tigo’s strategic goals Improve the performance of Tigo Tanzania Team Create team spirit based on the Tigo Values Ensure that learning and development activities comply with objectives, strategies and relevant needs of company Create and maintain a positive learning culture Key Responsibilities Leader Support line managers and employees in identifying and assessing the competencies required to perform in their position Lead regular meetings with line managers to discuss yearly/quarterly planning, operational issues and evaluation of Learning and Development needs Ownership of relationships with the local external suppliers/partners Manager Develop Annual Training Plan: analyze needs. Updating and communicate the training Plan on a monthly basis. Control training budget with HR Controller Ensure that the Performance Management cycle is met qualitatively and quantitatively. Implement and maintain the Performance and Development Policy. Maintain records with regard to the development of all employees Publish a training calendar for the operations Plan, organize and direct learning and development initiatives Ambassador Deliver induction program for all new hires Lead the implementation of a performance culture in the operation Entrepreneur Organize and conduct HR Trainings Take a lead in develop the Performance and Development results from the Employee Survey to an excellent level Position Requirements University degree in social science, B-com and related field HR/Management/Psychology oriented Work & training within a Telco environment is a plus. 3-5 years of operational experience in Performance and Development |
