Leading Telecommunications Company with head-quarters in Johannesburg is recruiting an Account/Sales Manager with 8 years’ plus sales experience in government, SME and Corporate sales within telecoms/mobile industry sector for their Bloemfontein branch.

Qualifications, skills and experience:
- Degree or National Diploma in Commerce/ Financial/ Marketing /Business Management or Recognition of Prior Learning OR a minimum of 8 years’ relevant sales/account management experience within telecoms/mobile industry sector.
- Minimum of 8 years’ sales/account management experience across the following channels within telecoms/mobile industry sector: Government, SME and Corporate.
- 5 years’ telecommunications experience.
- Proven track record of achievement of sales and revenue targets.
- Excellent experience with compiling tenders and entire tender process.
Main job functions:
- Develop and manage sales and business opportunities and relationships in both existing and in new channels including Government, SME & Corporate Market while ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and growth objectives.
- Be innovative to achieve sales revenue and acquisition targets.
- Provide expert insight into the regional SME/Corporate/Government markets and be responsible for the development of new business opportunities, including new accounts while ensuring alignment with the overall strategy to achieve sales targets.
- Identify product requirements based on regional market knowledge and collaborate with the Product team to implement products to satisfy market demands and grow sales.
- Grow and establish the SME/Corporate/Government segment function, growing the customer base execution of account management and tailored business solutions for the segment to achieve targets.
- Work closely with the sales channels in order to support specific sales campaigns, or initiatives to drive customer acquisition/retention by executing regional specific channel marketing activities (e.g. promotional stands, events, regional sponsorships etc.) which are in line with a wider marketing campaign strategy. Define and execute regional activities aimed at customer growth in line with overall Marketing campaigns.
- Participate in tenders and be responsible for entire tender process.
