In the midst of the Horn of Africa food crisis in 2011, several attempts to tackle the underlying causes of the Drought Crisis and mitigate its impacts were rolled out. One of these projects is an AusAid funded integrated approach to Child Centred Risk Reduction and Adaptation in Somaliland, Toghdeer region; promoting a watershed approach, combined with livelihoods, child protection, food security and child-centred DRR at community, regional and national levels.
Consultancy Objectives
- To establish the relevance of the Child –centred DRR/CCA project
- To establish the efficiency of the Child –centred DRR/CCA project
- To determine the effectiveness of the project
- To establish outcomes and probably the impact of the project
- To determine sustainability prospects of the project
- To establish lessons learnt, challenges and recommendations
