Job Description

RTI International is seeking qualified candidates for the Chief of Party Position for an anticipated donor-funded five year education project in Kenya focused on improving early grade reading. The project will consist of a main office in Nairobi and several County offices that will be charged with implementing interventions at the County level. This project’s implementation will support MOE challenges related to primary grade teaching and learning, assessment, and teacher training. This person will lead the management, implementation and overall quality assurance of the project. In this role, s/he will be RTI’s primary point of contact with USAID and Kenyan government counterpart agencies.
Essential Job Functions: The COP’s roles and responsibilities will include, among other things: Oversee technical, administrative and financial operations (e.g., operations, compliance, reporting, and implementation) in coordination with the RTI Home Office;
