:SUMMARY
To maintain and coordinate ground staff and general operational activities related to the running of the operations in a manner that ensures continuous effectiveness.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
∙ Management & Supervision:
1. Supervise the course sector in collaboration with the coordinator of studies
2. Supervise the multimedia sector in collaboration with the multimedia coordinator
3. Supervise the E-learning sector in collaboration with the coordinator of E-learning
4. Supervise the Training/project sector in collaboration with the coordinator of project
5. Structure and manage the Translation sector in collaboration with the translator
6. Liaise with the director for reports in the various sectors
7. Manage activities with the Head of language training of other language centers (e.g. British Council, Goethe Institute) regarding existing partnerships for language courses
∙ Human Resources
8. Plan and organize the training of the management staff
9. Supervise recruitment of staff and interns in the sectors of responsibilities
10. Follow up on interns : administrative, technical and logistical
∙ Development
11. Follow up and ensure the continuous development of each sector under its supervision within the Alliance Franco
12. Find strategies of development for the translation sector
∙ Public relations
13. Liaise with the local Education authorities and the French Embassy
14. Liaise with OIF (Organisation international de la Francophonie)
15. Represent Alliance française in front of corporate clients and for negotiation of contract
∙ Language, Pedagogy and Training
16. Invigilate exams, and supervise evaluations
17. Train staff members
18. Control quality of the contents in the various sectors
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Master degree, or an equivalent
2. Certification of Instructor for DELF-DALF exams
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. Knowledge of training engineering and pedagogy
2. Knowledge of management and administration
3. Knowledge of translation procedures
4. Knowledge of Tanzanian Educational system
5. General knowledge in marketing and communication
