BASIC FUNCTION OF POSITION MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare necessary documents for in/out processing of all American DH employees to include Travel Message cables and welcome cables. Assist in processing Diplomatic notes announcing arrival/departures to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, completion of MFA forms and re-entry visa requests and compile packages for signatures and transmission to the MFA. Updating the diplomatic list as requested by the MFA. Provide assistance in maintaining log of arriving/departing employees. As assigned, will prepare cables on Allowances Will provide back-up support in maintain OPFs Prepare and pouch information/correspondence Washington and other posts. As directed, will assist in maintaining the American portion of the WEBPASS. This includes inputting all employee information on WEPASS System and update when any changes made to direct hire employees, family status, grade, and step and on assignment. Maintains on a daily basis the American Staffing Pattern. Continually updating and entering information into PASS. Prepare office correspondence as directed by supervisor Prepare Personnel Actions for both direct hire and EFMs. Prepares packages for EFM checking in and checking out, and offers guidance on operational procedures to employees. Assists Mission American personnel with check in formalities upon arrival at Post, include ensuring all in-processing forms are filled out correctly. As directed, incumbent will prepare cables on cash awards for processing by the payroll office. Send out award nominations to the bureaus. Will perform other duties assigned.
