Depot Managers

Position Summary:
Support Territory Development Managers, Account Development Representatives & Customer Representatives to fulfill responsibility for Target Achievement of Sales Volumes, Merchandising Standards, Customer Service delivery and Local Account Management in all Routes / Areas in the territory. The Manager is also responsible to physically verify of Cooler placement as recommended by TOMs, all Trade activities planned by Company to TOMs / ADRs and CR's through group meetings and to take decision on appointment of Stockiest in assigned area.
Main Responsibilities:
Selling
Sell and execute all authorized products, packages and promotions.
Route Ride to Check, Supervise and Coach the Customer Representative to practice the 'Standard Call'
Obtain best Selling position in the account.
Create New Opportunities and source NMM/COO support. Ensure Target Achievement of all Goals set by NMM/COO Customer.
Plan, Organize, Co-ordinate, Control and Execute Core Work (Selling, Merchandising, Delivery & Distribution, Account Management & Coaching).
Expand the market with Horizontal & Vertical activities.
Track Customer wise Sales and take corrective action.
Visit the Trade daily to understand Customer needs market and industry trends.
Resources, Records & Presentations
Identify, Allocate, Track & Evaluate resources to maximize sales.
Keep details of Customers, Assets, Glass, Signage, etc by Route/ Area.
Review and analyze the data available and collected.
Provide feedback, make presentations & enable corrective actions.
Key Performance Indicators (KPls)
Absence of Customers complains from the market
Availability of all brands in the market
Attainment of Sales Volume
Timely submission of Sales and Market report to Sales and Marketing Manager
Increase of new customers
Correct and timely submission of sales reports
Absence of cash/empties shortage
Cooler Placement
Management of Budget
Position Requirements:
Masters Degree in Business Administration or a related field and at least 8 years progressive working experience in similar responsibilities.
Competencies/skills:
Strong understanding of project management principles
Strong leadership skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills both in English and Swahili

Market Development Accounts - MDR's

Position Summary:
Responsible for sales targets for his/her area, ensuring effective utilization of all merchandising equipment and maintenance of high merchandising standards. Effective monitoring through route/customer cards/files for regular servicing of all accounts and continuously improving distribution and availability of our products. He/she will maximize utilization of point of purchase and promotion materials. Shall create opportunities and develop new accounts for generating sales volume. Consistently values add to Customer Representatives to improve their knowledge, skills, attitude and the handling of customers.
Main Responsibilities:
Report any CR who has not returned back from Route for previous day.
Check all DSS.
Check all supporting attached with DSS.
 (Delivery Note, Full's In, Empties In, Cash Deposit Receipt, Cash Sates Invoices)
Reconcile dues for full's and empties and to check load in empties/full's and banking receipt.
Sign DSS to confirm documentation/reconciliation and forward it to TDM.
Achieve Daily/Weekly and Monthly Volume Target for assigned area.
Ensure all SKU's are available in the Outlet.
Convert non-buyer to buyer.
Route ride 3 times / week with C.R. to train and monitor C.R.'s performance.
Ensure every Customer has Retailer Card and sign it for every visit.
Work on improving Merchandising/Brand visibility in the market.
Entry Requirements:
Advanced Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or a related field and at least 4 years working experience in similar responsibilities.

 CR cum Drivers

Reports to:Marketing and Sales Officer
Position Summary:
Drives and maintains company vehicle and Responsible for sales targets for his/her area, ensuring effective utilization of all merchandising equipment and maintenance of high merchandising standards
Regular servicing of all accounts and continuously improving distribution and availability of products. Will maximize utilization of point of purchase and promotion material
Main Responsibilities:
Checks of vehicle before use.
Reports immediately on any vehicle damages for maintenance
Ensure all government document concerning vehicle are in place
Maintain and keep record in log book.
Entry Requirements:
Form IV IVI with Diploma in Business Administration or Sales and holder of class C driving license from recognized institute
At least 2 year Progressive working experience in related field

 Production Officer

Position Summary:
Supervises shop employees in a manufacturing: plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions,
Main Responsibilities:
May be appointed to lead a line production
Enforce safety and sanitation regulations
Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production such as Quality inspectors, machine operators, and Fillers operators,
Plan and achieve the target production volumes for the Line by properly planning the availability of syrup, ensure movement of empties and organize optimum manpower required.
Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs
Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.
Key Performance Indicators (KPls)
75% OEE for the Line
Concentrate Yield - 99.2% for the line Sugar Yield - 99.15% for the line
Glass Breakage - 0.25% for the line and 0.42% overall Cases per man hour - 19 for the line.
Overall Co2 Yield - 75%
Overall Crown Yield - 99.5%
Overall Water Consumption - 32 liters per case
Entry Requirements:
Degree in Food Science and Technology, Chemical Engineering or a related field and at least 4 years working experience in similar responsibilities

 Fleet Manager Department

Supervises:Assistant Manager, Fleet; Senior Fleet Officer
Position Summary:
Ensures streamlined operation of the Fleet department in alignment with the business objectives of the organization
The Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, directing and design Transport-related activities of the SBC, as well as in providing administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the Fleet department. Manager works closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for the organization. Manager, Transport defines and implements Transport policies, procedures and best practices.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and administer an annual budget and ensure all spending are within approved budget.
Set priorities, assign work to personnel, and set schedules for completion of work.
Relate with third party service provider in line with SBC policy and monitor progress and quality of work.
Ensure compliance on corporate policies and SOPs on fleet maintenance at plant level.
Provide support for recruitment and evaluation of Drivers.
Administer policies and procedures governing fleet management operations in line with SBC Policy.
Overall management to the required standard and quality of the company owned Fleet i.e. route trucks, saloon cars, water tankers, pickups and forklifts.
Analyze daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Reduce fleet repair costs by minimizing down time to maximize truck availability
Ensure Fleet log, fuel log and road base systems are operating perfectly.
Advise the Management on deciding whether it is economical to run a particular vehicle.
Entry Requirements:
Masters Degree in Transport Management or a related field and at least 8 years progressive working experience in similar responsibilities.

 Chief Cashier

Reports to:Senior Accountant/Finance Manager
Department:Finance
Position Summary:
Handling cash and banking activities
Main Responsibilities:
To ensure all daily sales are collected in time and receipts/ pay in-slips are issued to acknowledge the same.
Collection of debtors payment and issuing of sales receipts Collection of Short-recoveries from sales representatives, issuing receipts and banking of the same on daily basis.
Ensure that the Company daily sales as imp rest petty cash from daily sales is reimbursed by cheque and it is banked on daily basis
Collection of daily/monthly bank statement, debit and credit advice and cheque books, etc.
Preparation of daily sales collection reports detailing all CRS sales collection, debtors, shorts, charges etc.
Pass daily sales collection to accounting system
Entry Requirements:
Advanced Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or
a related field and at least 4 years working experience in similar responsibilities.

Senior Cooler Technician

Department:Cooler
Reports to:           Sales Manager, General Manager
Supervises:          Cooler Technicians
Position Summary:
Managing Coolers Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance
Main Responsibilities:
Plan, organize and supervise, preventive and breakdown maintenance
Maintain and control Tools and spares requirements
Prepare and report monthly preventive and breakdown maintenance report
Conducts technicians annual performance appraisal Keep import and distribution records.
Liaise with Finance Department for Property Registry Create Cooler Master List and quarterly updates Recommends Asset disposal/write off
Entry Requirements:
Advanced Diploma or Degree in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or a related field and at least 5 years working experience in similar responsibilities

 Maintenance Technician

Department:Engineering
Reports:Senior Maintenance Engineer I
Provide maintenance support
Support Production and Quality Assurance Departments in implementing various performance improvement activities.
Main Responsibilities:
Plan day to day Maintenance Activities including allocation of manpower, arrangement of spares and satisfactory completion of jobs in time
Support Production & Quality Assurance Departments in implementing various performance improvement activities
Assist prepare an Annual Preventive Maintenance Plan and adhere to the plans.
Assist in Review the current Preventive Maintenance Procedures and Schedules for all Bottling Lines, Utility Equipments, Off-site Equipments and implement necessary changes with appropriate document numbers.
Prepare the list of Annual Shutdown Jobs and the spares required for the Bottling Lines & Utility Equipments in time.
Entry Requirements:
Advanced Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

 Electrical Technician

Department:Engineering
Reports to:          Senior Electrical Technician I
Position Summary:
Applies electrical theory or related knowledge in testing and modifying operational or developmental electrical control circuitry and equipment and electrical machinery in commercial or industrial plants and laboratories
Main Responsibilities:
Repairing and replacing defective parts in generators, motors, storage batteries, controllers, switchboards, switches, conductors, and other electrical fixtures.
Installing, maintaining, and repairing -electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery and equipment, including transformers, generators exciters, and hydraulic and pneumatic devices
Utilizing specialized digital cameras and thermo graphic imaging to perform infrared analysis and examination of field equipment
Designing and modifying motor power control equipment circuits, reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics
Planning and laying work orders or work from instructions, using sketches, blueprints, and drawings.
Entry Requirements:
Diploma/FTC in Electrical Engineering or a related field

 Chiller Operator

Department:Engineering
Reports to:          Senior Chiller Operator
Position Summary:
Operating of flow mixer and conducting CIP
Main Responsibilities:
Operating of flow mixer
Doing of the C1P, from final syrup tank to filling machine as per prescribed guidelines
Keeping records of the flow rate of CO2, final syrup and water.
Monitoring and controlling manually the temperature of the glycol
Entry Requirements:
Form IV /VI with Vocation Training Grade Test I or \I
At least 4 years experience on related field

 Utility Operator

Department:Engineering Reports to: Utility Supervisor
Position Summary:
Provide maintenance support
Support Production ft Quality Control Departments in implementing various performance improvement activities.
Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for proper operations and maintenance of Utility
Equipments like Refrigeration compressors, Air compressors, Boilers, Cooling Towers, Cooling Units, Furnace Oil offloading and storage systems.
Adhere to the current Preventive Maintenance Procedures and
Schedules for all Utility Equipments
Ensure that all documents for equipments operations and maintenance activities like Log Book, History Card ft Preventive Maintenance Check List is properly filled, filed and is kept in an easily accessible place - for all Utility equipments.
Provide support to maintenance department in completing maintenance activities
Complete inspections for the Process Safety Management and
Preventative Maintenance programs
Lead the emergency response team activities per incident command procedures
Establish utilities systems maintenance routines, procedures, frequencies and schedules with assistance from supervisor or engineer
Take an active role in the plant and departmental safety, environmental and PSM programs
Entry Requirements:
Form IV /VI with Vocational Training Grade Test I or I in Electrical,
Electronics or Mechanics
At least 4 years experience on related field

 Filler operator

Department:Production
Reports to:Senior Filler Operator
Position Summary:
Provide maintenance support
Support Production and Quality Control Departments in implementing various performance improvement activities.
Main Responsibilities:
Operate the Filler at the recommended speed.
Ensure that there are minimum low fill and high fill rejections Ensure low bottle breakages by reporting abnormalities to maintenance department for rectification
Ensure minimum spillage of product
Ensure proper storing of all tools in one's respective area
Make sure that Filler is clean and shining
Ensure proper Crowns storage near the filler and low crowns spillage from the crowner
Adhere to maintenance Schedule greasing I oiling and daily check list
Ensure proper vent tube maintenance
Inform in time to the Maintenance Department for any abnormalities of the equipment.
Entry Requirements:
Form IV /VI with good passes
Holder of Vocational Training Certificate Grade I or II
At least 2 years experience on related field

 Senior Security Officer

Department:Human Resources
Reports to:Human Resources Manager
Supervises:         Security Personnel
Liaise with contracted Security Company and ensure proper location
Oversee security of Company properties and staff.
Main Responsibilities:
Assist Legal officer/Human Resources Manager in supervising security Guards.
Guarding the company's properties-including those entrusted to the company by the customers against theft or damage.
Report or take action against any suspicious character or movements
Carrying out guard and investigations aimed at safety and securing company properties.
Protection and detection of malpractices such as frauds and thefts and take appropriate action against them
Entry Requirements:
Diploma in Law from recognized institute
Retired Police Officer at a rank of Superintendent with commendable experience in interrogation or related Field.
Good command in English Speaking and Writing

 Stores Assistant (Empties / Full's)

Department:Yard and Stores
Reports to:          Stores Officer
Position Summary:
Depending on whether one is responsible for Full's or empties the main responsibilities are either; Receives empties cases and conduct physical verification OR Receives Full's cases, conduct physical verification and load in the trucks.
Main Responsibilities:
Maintain daily stock position
Supervises loading of Full's into trucks according to load out forms
Initiates preparation of stock Transfer Note and Delivery Note cum Gate pass
The Stores Clerk will issue Full Declaration Load In Report signed by both the Stores Clerk and CR.
Prepares summary of Full's loaded
Prepares personal activity reports
Entry Requirements:
Form IV /VI with Diploma in Materials Management or related discipline from a recognized institution.
