The Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Agency (RURA) is a multi-sector
regulator with the mandate to regulate certain public utilities
including telecommunication, electricity, gas, water, sanitation and
transport. To fulfill its mission, RURA wishes to recruit competent and
skilled staff to fill in the following positions:
1. One Officer in charge of wastewater treatment and cleaning service monitoring
• To be Rwanda by Nationality;
• Master’s degree in civil, environmental, sanitary or water engineering or a master’s degree of public health with civil or water engineering background;
• Bachelor degree in civil, environmental, sanitary or water engineering with a minimum of three years of relevant work experience including significant experience in water and sanitation sector;
• Background in or familiarity with wastewater and cleaning service is an advantage;
• Be proactive, dynamic and goal driven;
• Fluency English and Kinyarwanda (both spoken and written) and preferably with working knowledge of French;
• Computer literacy with good working knowledge of office applications;
2. One Officer in charge of Media Monitoring and Analysis Officer
• Be Rwandan by nationality;
• Master’s degree in Journalism, International Law and/or Communication or bachelor’s degree in Journalism, International Law and/or Communication with 3 years of work experience;
• Have a high level of integrity and faithfulnessPage 3 of 4;
• Have a good command of English and French;
• Be proactive, dynamic and goal driven;
• Be able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines;
3. One Accountant
• Be Rwandan Citizen;
• ACCA, CPA or Bachelor Degree in Accounting with at least 3 years working experience;
• High level of integrity and faithfulness;
• Have a high level of integrity and faithfulness;
• Have a good command of English and French;
• Be proactive, dynamic and goal driven;
• Be able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines;
4. One Driver
• Be Rwandan Citizen;
• Secondary school certificate. A certificate in Automotive Mechanics, Electrical, Electronic, other related field would be an advantage;
• High level of integrity and faithfulness;
• Has excellent attendance and positive attitude to the job;
• Possess a valid driving license Class B;
• Age 25 year to 35 years;
• Have an experience of minimum 3 years;
• Be fluent in Kinyarwanda and have good communication skills of English and French;
