1. REGISTRAR (RPE) - Grade 15 (Re-Advertisement; previous applicants need only update their CV)
Applicants should have a Ph.D. preferably in science, social science or engineering from a recognized University. Applicants should have fifteen (15) years of experience in administration and management of research, production and extension activities or equivalent, preferably in a University at senior level (five years of experience should have been in Grade 14 or equivalent).
The candidate should have demonstrated abilities in conducting research, drafting policies in the relevant areas and in having knowledge of donor communities and fund raising skills. He/she should be conversant with modern management techniques including relevant aspects of Information Technology.
Performance, achievements and discipline in previous work stations will also be considered.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate effective leadership. Extensive publication in refereed journals and competence in IT will be added advantages.

2. CHIEF INTERNAL AUDITOR -Grade 15
Applicants must;
Posses Masters Degree in Accounting plus Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting option) from a recognized university, and CPA (K). Must have at least 10 years working experience, five of which should have been in an internal audit function at a senior level or Grade 14.
OR
Be in possession of an MBA (Finance option) plus Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting option) from a recognized university, and CPA (K), and at least 10 years working experience, five of which should have been in an internal audit function at a senior level or Grade 14.
Applicants must also be members of a recognized professional accounting body i.e. ICPAK, and have strong management and organizational skills, as well as proven capabilities in IT and use of financial management softwares.
Performance, achievements and discipline in previous work stations will also be considered.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certificate will be an added advantage
3. UNIVERSITY LIBRARIAN - Grade 15
Applicants:
- Must possess M.A./M.Sc in Library/Information Science with 15 years experience, five of which must have been in grade 14 or equivalent in a busy library.
- Must possess a Bachelors degree in Library/Information Science from a recognized university
- Must have evidence of independent Research in IT.
- Must be conversant with ICT applications in an academic/research library environment.
4. HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER – Grade 13
Applicants must have Masters Degree in Human Resource Management or related field, plus Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management/Social Sciences from a recognized university. They should have basic computer literacy and be proficient in relevant application packages. They should have had at least ten (10) years working experience in HR management, including three (3) years at Grade 12 or equivalent. Broad knowledge in labour laws, compensation, benefits administration, organizational planning and development, employee relations, training and development will be added advantage.
Performance, achievements and discipline in previous work stations will also be considered.
The successful applicant is expected to be a member of a professional body, have good leadership and managerial skills, ability to multi-task, counsel and mentor staff, as well as maintain a healthy working relationship with staff.
5. DIRECTOR ICT – Grade 13
Applicants must have Masters Degree in IT/IS/Computer Science or related field, plus Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information Communication Technology from a recognized university. They should have at least one relevant Professional Qualification (CCNA, CISA, CISM, MSCE, OCP, etc) and belong to a relevant professional association. They should have had at least seven (7) years working experience in a technical Telecommunications/Engineering/IT management position.
Performance, achievements and discipline in previous work stations will also be considered.
6. CATERING MANAGER – Grade 13
Applicants must have Masters Degree in Hotel Management/Institutional Management or related field plus Bachelors Degree in Hospitality. They should have had at least ten (10) years working experience in a reputable hospitality institution at a senior level, including three (3) years at Grade 12 or equivalent.
Performance, achievements and discipline in previous work stations will also be considered.
7. HALLS MANAGER – Grade 13
Applicants must have Masters Degree in Institutional Management or related field plus Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management or Home Economics. They should have had at least ten (10) years working experience in a reputable hospitality institution at a senior level, including three (3) years at Grade 12 or equivalent.
Performance, achievements and discipline in previous work stations will also be considered.
8. TRANSPORT MANAGER- Grade 13
Qualifications:
- Applicants must have Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering plus BSc Mechanical Engineering or related field from a recognized university.
- Must have an experience of 10 years in transport management in a large organization, including three (3) years at Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Must have knowledge and experience in fleet management software applications.
- Must have experience in vehicle repair, maintenance, routing and dispatch
9. MECHANIC - Grade 6
Qualifications:
- O-level Certificate
- Diploma in motor vehicle/Automotive Engineering
- Government Trade Certificate Grade 1 M/V Mechanic.
- Driving license class ABCE with a PSV endorsement.
- Experience of 9 years in a busy workshop.
10. SENIOR LIBRARY ASSISTANT - Grade 8
· Must have a Bachelors Degree in Library/Information Science from a recognized university,
OR
Higher Diploma in Library Information Science with 5 years experience in grade 7 or equivalent
· Must demonstrate competence in IT
Performance, achievements and discipline in previous work stations will also be considered.
11. SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - Grade 13
- Must be holders of at least Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting, and an MBA.
- Must possess CPA(K) or it's equivalent.
- She/he must be a member of a professional accountancy body i.e. Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
- Must have shown merit and ability in accounting over a period of at least eight (8) years in a busy accounts office, three (3) of which should have been at a senior level or Grade 12.
- Must be self driven.
- Must be computer literate, with extensive experience with accounting and database software.
12. EXECUTIVE SECRETARY - Grade 12
Applicant must be holder of a Bachelors degree in Secretarial Studies/ Office Management or equivalent from a recognized university and should have a typing speed of 50/120 wpm, with proven skills in IT. In addition applicants must have at least five (5) years experience in secretarial duties at Grade 10 in a senior manager’s office or equivalent. Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations will be an added advantage.
OR
Applicant must be holder of a Bachelors degree in Business Administration or equivalent from a recognized university, AND Typewriting III (50 w.p.m.), Office Management III, Business English III, Secretarial Studies II, Commerce II, Shorthand III (100 w.p.m.), Office practice II. In addition applicant must have at least five (5) years experience in secretarial duties at Grade 10 in a senior manager’s office or equivalent. Post Graduate Diploma in Public Relations will be an added advantage.
