Reporting to the Partner-Management Consulting this is a dedicated
role, and therefore provides a real opportunity to get into the heart of
HR delivery across challenging and demanding clients, and to support
the work of the rest of the team in looking at how the unit can
effectively function.
The managers’ role is a pro-active position. You will need to be able to demonstrate both resilience and flexibility in a complex and changing environment. You will need a sound understanding of HR issues, excellent client service and communication skills. A self starter, you will proactively seek opportunities to implement innovative and commercial HR solutions successfully.
Commerciality, allied to a sound knowledge of HR Consulting, practice and procedures, delivered in a confident and proactive way is the key benchmark for measuring the higher performance culture we aspire to in our relationships with our client base.
You will also be committed to team working, not only with your clients, but to taking on activities within the unit in growing and motivating your team members.
This position would be based in Kenya.

Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the delivery of Value Adding HR service and for managing relationships that help to drive the business;
- Establishing and nurturing strong working relationships with key clients ensuring advice is business focused and value adding;
- Building/maintaining the internal relationships with other Business units to ensure an effective delivery of a quality service to the clients;
- Take responsibility for growing the P&C business;
- Effectively leading the P&C team in client delivery work;
- Provide guidance to the P&C team in all Human resource related assignments;
- Flag to the Director and or Partner in the unit any emerging trends and opportunities and make proposals to address these;
- Developing areas of HR focus for knowledge-sharing across teams;
- Coach and facilitate performance development in the P&C team;
Desired Skills & Experience
- will be a graduate, with a Higher Diploma in Human resource qualification
- masters in any business related course would an added advantage;
- will be an experienced HR Consultant with over seven(7) years experience;
- will demonstrate ability to successfully build and manage relationships at senior level;
- Sound business acumen, able to develop and follow business leads with an aim of converting these to revenue;
- Be prepared to travel within East Africa and beyond.
