Job Title: Commodities Coordinator
Location: Akobo East, Jonglei State
Period: 9 months with possibility of extension
Job Purpose
The Commodity
Coordinator will be the overall responsible for management of the PL 480 Title
II commodity in the program and ensure effective supply chain management in
place. He will work closely with the Program Staff to ensure utilize of food
aid commodities for direct distribution and for monetization. The import,
Monetization and distribution of Title II wheat are critical element in the
implementation of SC MYAP and managed activities under Title II program in
South Sudan. This includes commodity planning in line with the program
requirement, mange importation, shipping, survey, port operation, arrange
monetization, ensure warehousing, transportation, distribution, record keeping,
reporting and monitoring. He will establish an effective commodity control
system and monitoring of commodity movement at all stages of transport,
handling, storage, and distribution.

Person
Specifications
- Graduate in any discipline with minimum of 8 years professional experience including 3 years practical experience of project implementation of Food aid program.
- Experience commodity management, which includes commodity planning/budgeting warehousing, transportation and monetization (If any) and private channel.
- Good knowledge on SC Policy, Food Resource manual, GACAP, Inventory management, AID regulations, OMB A-133 and Standard Provisions.
