Job Title: Advocacy Manager
Salary: c.£42,000
Job Location: London WC1E
IAPB is a membership organisation over 120 strong. We operate to enable better coordination and collaboration, and to be a united voice for eye care services on the global stage. Your task will be to manage and promote our advocacy work across the world. It’s a crucial role, where you’ll oversee our campaigns; work with existing advocacy networks; and provide our work groups and regional staff with centralised support.
Your goal? To raise the profile of eye health and the elimination of preventable blindness.
To join us, you must have significant experience in advocacy and policy. You’ll need the intellectual ability to grasp complex, multi-faceted issues plus a degree (or equivalent). Above all, you must be a highly proficient campaigner who can influence, present and speak publicly, drawing on strong communication skills. Resilient and culturally sensitive, you’ll be comfortable travelling extensively and committed to our cause.The Advocacy Manager will coordinate the IAPB’s advocacy work across the world through the management, facilitation and promotion of its advocacy and policy activities and will work closely with IAPB Member organisations to achieve shared advocacy change objectives.
