ICT Support Services Manager

Curriculum Development and TOT Consultant – PROWOPP
Adeso is seeking a qualified consultant specialized in developing and implementing a curriculum and a training of trainers (ToT). The curriculum and ToT will work towards the overall objectives of the Promoting Women’s Political Participation for Development of Peace and Security in Puntland (PROWOPP) Project. The consultancy is for a period of 15 days, beginning December 8, 2012 and will include the development of a curriculum package for the community trainers to use in training women groups at the regional level. Adeso encourages consultancy firms or groups that can assign one consultant specialized in gender related issues to apply.

The Technical Advisor for Public Health will provide technical and programmatic guidance related to public health, more specifically related to water-related diseases. The TA will develop and design interventions through appropriate household hygiene and through community strategies near water sources. S/he will be responsible for strategy development, activity design, project implementation and interaction with communities on WASH Health related activities. Geographical Information System (GIS) Analyst, Kenya Arid Lands Disaster Risk Reduction – WASH Program, Garissa, Kenya
The GIS Analyst will be responsible for providing leadership in GIS mapping and spatial database development at scale. S/he will ensure timely and efficient utilization of GIS and remote sensing applications in furtherance of project objectives. The GIS Analyst is responsible for determining the spatial information needs of the project partners with regards to mapping of WASH infrastructure, migratory corridors, markets, pasturelands and status of resource use.

Girls’ Education Challenge Deputy Program Director, Kenya
The Deputy Program Director (DPD) will provide support for overall strategic leadership and oversight to the project in Kenya. S/he will be primarily responsible for the smooth day-to-day aspects of the project, ensuring smooth implementation and compliance with all UKAID regulations and reporting requirements.

The Monitoring and Evaluation and Research Manager (MER) will be responsible for the project’s monitoring, research and evaluation function. The post holder will provide technical leadership and support to the development of comprehensive performance monitoring plans by GEC and its partners. These will in turn form the basis for data collection, ensuring data quality and integrity, analyzing indicator data, organizing monthly formative feedback sessions for project staff, and monitoring compliance with UKAID specified targets.

GEC Finance Manager, Nairobi, Kenya
The Finance Manager will be a full-time member of the GEC Program Team, working with the relevant units in the program headquarters, Adeso teams, and field staff. The main responsibilities will be the planning and coordination of the Finance Department’s activities by ensuring that the department has adequate resources to effectively undertake its activities. The Finance Manager will be part of the senior management team of the GEC Program and will ensure compliance with all Adeso and donor financial policies and guidelines at all levels.
