Our Client, the Brooke is the UK’s leading overseas welfare charity for working horses, donkeys and mules.
The Brooke is establishing an East Africa Regional Office in Nairobi to develop and implement country and regional strategies, support and monitor partners and represent the Brooke within Kenya and the wider region.
We are seeking to recruit well-organized, highly motivated and result-oriented individuals for the following positions which will be based in Nairobi with regular travel within the region and occasional wider international travel for meetings.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Regional Representative, the Programme Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing the country strategy. The Programme Manager will be responsible for
- Programme and Partnership management,
- Programme Development, Expansion and Networking,
- Coordination and Communications.
Summary of Essential Qualifications
- First Degree (Bachelors) in a relevant animal health discipline such as a veterinary degree or in development studies, social sciences, management or other related areas of international development
- Minimum 5 years working experience with an international animal welfare/humanitarian/ development NGO with strong programme development, implementation, management monitoring and evaluation experience – especially at the field level
