The PNG Provincial and Local-level Governments Program (PLGP) is seeking applications for a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager. This unique opportunity is a senior program position providing support and leadership to a multi-location, multi-disciplinary team, and its interaction with key stakeholders. This long term position will be challenging and rewarding enabling you to focus your technical and relationship skills and expertise in a significant and complex program working at National and Sub-National levels within PNG.
THE POSITION
The Monitoring and Evaluation Manager will have the opportunity to build capacity within the PLGP team and with partners in M&E at both national and sub-national levels of PNG. The position will involve opportunities to travel to an array of Provinces within the country and provide oversight of the program’s monitoring and evaluation responsibilities, including supporting the development and ongoing implementation of the M&E framework, systems and processes. The position will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the Program’s capacity building activities and outcomes relating to public sector service delivery.

We’ll ask you to commit to 18 months and be dedicated to achieving successful development outcomes whilst working with an experienced team. THE PROGRAM
The PLGP is a partnership between the governments of Australia and PNG to support and improve the quality of decentralised service delivery to the people of PNG through capacity development of provincial governments and other key national agencies.
