This is an exciting time to a team of Senior Managers in establishing WaterAid's presence in Rwanda. We are looking for professionals who passionately share our vision and have the influential leadership qualities to maximize the opportunities and impact of WASH issues.
You will lead on development and discharge of effective financial and human resource management strategies, policies, systems and procedures; risk assessment and appropriate control measures to ensure that the Country Programme objectives are met. You will also provide support to our staff and partner organizations to ensure financial efficiency & value for money in the country program activities;
Requirements for this role includes but not limited to:
Your impressive five year minimum background in Administration/HR Management and Financial Accounting at the senior level will include substantial experience of working with INGOs, donors and partners at a variety of levels.
You should have a BA in Accounting or a Masters degree in Finance. Competition of Accounting qualifications/certifications e.g. CA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA will be an added advantage but not a must. You will also have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, together with experience in people management and development.
Ability to provide financial analysis and interpretation to the country team is key. Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda is essential and good working knowledge of French is desirable.
