This position is responsible for the following:
Senior Technical Officer, Monitoring and Evaluation
Provide technical oversight for the development, implementation, and capacity-building of components of program M&E system, including Management of Information Systems (MIS) to meet requirements for FHI 360, USAID, and other stakeholders.
Provide technical support in the use of tools for collecting and analyzing monitoring data.
Collect data, verify and prepare project performance reports.
Review sub-agreements for monitoring and evaluation.
Assist in compiling quarterly, annual, and ad hoc program data and reports.
Requirement:
BS/BA in public health or related field, and 7-9 years’ relevant experience, or MS/MA/MPH in public health or related field, and 5-7 years’ relevant experience, or PhD, MD or similar degree with 3-5 years’ relevant experience.
Experience in HIV/AIDS or family planning with international development programs.
Overseas experience required; familiarity with and understanding of northern Ugandan context.
Proficiency in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets;
demonstrated experience using Health Management Information Systems
