Purpose
The Emerging Products group has the mandate to expand Visa's operational scope beyond traditional clients and products, and thus requires a senior manager to help drive a global strategy and manage Emerging Products activity in Africa. Ideal candidate will have the proven ability to develop a deployment plan for a product and execute on Visa’s strategic growth objectives for a geographically and culturally diverse region.
Role includes primary responsibility all of Emerging Products activity in Africa. This is, in turn, a large part of Visa's global product strategy as a whole. Will also be responsible for reporting progress and activity to regional managers and product leads. Reports to Head of Business Planning for Emerging Products.
Principal Responsibilities / Key Results Area:
Responsible for all non-core activity in Africa
Lead respective country teams on strategic decision-making and implementation
Manage market research and analysis
Lead product teams on priority markets, regions, and products
Identify high-priority client targets and manage client messaging
Manage financial business cases and revenue streams
Leading a team of 3 directs, with 7 in total.

Direct interaction with regional executives

Direct interaction with key clients
External contact with C-level executives with external organisations (banking, mobile, start up etc)
