Position Overview:
Key responsibilities includes:
1) brand business strategy development (from brand vision, positioning to growth paths)
2) Brand specific marketing plan development and its execution such as products, packages, communications and promotional activities
3) Brand performance and marketing expenses management
Many projects require working closely with many key functions among Coca-Cola (Japan) Company, Limited (CCJC) and Coca-Cola Tokyo R&D (CCTR&D) and Bottlers.
Function Specific Activities:
Achieve sales and profit objectives of responsible brand
Develop and manage Qoo Brand strategy including brand vision/positioning refinement and growth paths for future
Manage marketing plans including product development/ Communication strategy / brand specific promotional activities in partnership with key internal/external stakeholders (Other functions in CCJC, CCTR&D, Bottler Sales Department & Supply Chain Management Departent, agency, suppliers etc.)
Monitor brand performance, brand health and key activities/ Develop proposal plans to variance versus target, if needed
Manage process, quality of output, delivery timing and cost on assigned brand’s project
Lead multi-functional project members to develop brand activities by delivering clear project vision and objectives
Work closely with other CCJC functions and bottlers to deliver brand’s key strategic message and brand’s point of view as a brand manager
Minimum Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Related Work Experience:
At least 3 years of consumer marketing, channel/trade marketing experience
Language Requirements:
Intermediate level of English
Native level of Japanese
Core Competencies:
Ability to think logically enough to recommend strategic directions/brand plans to internal/external partners
Strong commitment in pursuing business goals, business improvement proactively even in tough situations
Skills to develop presentation materials of decent quality including logical explanation
Strong with “numbers” in order to manage sales volume, profit and marketing expenses
Communication skills, especially to organize variety of brand project collaborated with other internal functions while leading and inspiring them
Understanding of mother and kid’s consumer insights and lifestyle (need an interest in the brand target )
Good understanding of Bottling system and soft-drink market
