JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of the Knowledge and Learning Manager is to coordinate and manage learning initiatives for the usage, implementation and operation of Fundamo Enterprise Edition. The Knowledge and Learning Manager will also define and manage the internal knowledge strategy for Fundamo’s Platform Product division. The Knowledge and Learning Manager is responsible for the collection and presentation of knowledge material that will be used internally by a variety of technical and business stakeholders at Fundamo, as well as integration partners and customers. The Knowledge and Learning Manager will be required to monitor and report on knowledge gaps and the performance of learning programs and then contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Fundamo Enterprise Edition body of knowledge.
The Knowledge and Learning Manager will facilitate the innovation of tools, approaches and processes.
The Knowledge and Learning Manager will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Internal stakeholders include Delivery teams (including trainers), Product Managers, Software Development teams and Product Support. External stakeholders include System Integrators and Customers.
In summary the Knowledge and Learning Manager is required to:
- Develop and manage the internal knowledge and learning processes;
- Manage external training processes;
- Lead a small team of knowledge and authoring specialists;
- Define and manage the training and learning strategy for Fundamo Enterprise Edition;
- Coordinate training requirements and resource-gathering;
- Report on progress of learning programs; and
- Facilitate learning innovation to support the business.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND APPROXIMATE WEIGHTING
Accountability Manage internal knowledge and learning processes Weighting 35%

- Promote efficient induction of new employees through comprehensive training programs;
- Support functional learning about the Fundamo Enterprise Edition platform across the organization;
- Define and mange the process of gathering, updating and sharing internal knowledge;
- Support on-going learning to support work performance; and
- Track and manage performance of training programs.
Accountability Manage external knowledge training processes Weighting 10%
Outputs to deliver this accountability:
- Manage and coordinate the training processes required for SI Partners; and
- Manage the ongoing operations of the Customer Support Knowledge Portal.
Accountability Define and manage the training and learning strategy Weighting 10%
Outputs to deliver this accountability:
- Define and articulate the strategy for training and learning approaches with an eye to:
- Format of the learning blend;
- Deliverables;
- Maintenance procedures;
- Identification of information needs of Fundamo and its customers;
- Creating value for Fundamo and its customers through enabling effective collaboration; and
- Manage and report on the execution of the learning strategy.
Accountability Coordinate training requirements and resource-gathering Weighting 10%

- Define a process to coordinate the gathering of training requirements and resources;
- Collaborate with internal and external departments to facilitate this process; and
- Compile and disseminate relevant tools and learning materials.
Accountability Report on progress of learning programs Weighting 10%

- Report on the progress of learning programs and initiatives; and
- Report on and monitor learning and knowledge gaps for both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications
FORMAL LEARNING/QUALIFICATION REQUIRED TO PERFORM OPTIMALLY IN THE ROLE- Matric (NQF3)
- ITIL v3 Foundation- Essential
- ITIL v3 RCV (Release Control and Validation)- Desirable
- Applicable tertiary qualification (National Diploma/ Degree)- Desirable
- 7- 10 years’ experience in the ICT industry
- 2- 3 years' experience in knowledge/ learning management, holding a communication or a coordination role
