On the ball?
To strengthen our in-house translation team, the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) is looking for an
English translator
to start work in our Zurich headquarters immediately or by arrangement.
Your duties:
- Translating from German, French and occasionally Spanish into British English (journalistic, football-related, financial, medical, legal texts, etc.)
- Proofreading various documents and reports
Our requirements:
- Modern Languages degree or recognised translation qualification
- At least 2 years of work experience as a qualified translator
- English mother tongue
- Very good knowledge of German and French; Spanish would be an advantage
- Good teamworking skills
- Experience with Trados translation software
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Flexibility with regard to working hours
- Interest in and knowledge of football
