Job Purpose:
A Customer Service and Sales Centre Cashier is responsible formanagement and safe custody of inventories, administer and control income collection on day to day running of the Customer Service and Sales Centes and in compliance with all the company policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring 100 percent compliance to company core values, integrity, respect and passion and departmental policies and procedures.
- Daily preparation and issuing of inventories to CSSC staffs for end user sales.
- Daily sales to stock items to end users.
- Management and safe custody of company assets i.e. serve as custodian of the inventory and keep control of the same.
- Ensure physical security of all the company stock on hand.
- Ensure that set revenue targets are met and exceeded failure to which they must provide viable explanations to the Manager in advance.
- Monitor stock level, movement and suggest slow moving and obsolete items.
- Escalate CRITICAL customer complaints that they are unable to resolve to the Supervisor but must show prior attempts to solve before excalation.
- Must send all required reports on time; daily, weekly and monthly
- Must do Daily reconcilliation of the stock sent and received before the close of business day.
- Must issue receipts to all sales at CSSC
- Take the responsibility of replacement of returned merchandise within warrantly time.
- Must arrange the stock for quick and easy audit
- Must report all fraudulent activitiesor loss at the CSSC or company level, and must maintain high levels of security at all times and making sure all CCTVs are functional.
- Must ensure that all information is appropriately documented for easy reference i.e. staff issues, escalated client issues and escalated branch issues.
- Assist management to identify problems or enhancements that can be made to existing business operations and systems and to assist in the development of acceptable solutions.
- Manage and special projects or other activities and reports allocated by Supervisor
- Ensuring positive team spirit throught supporting and building team morale.
- Responsible for full compliance and execution of SOX controls related to Inventory and Treasury.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration/Accounting.
- 2 Years experience in a customer service/cashier role.
