Position Overview:
Additionally, the position will be the key point of interaction with senior leadership to provide the Philippines System with critical, significant, substantial business-performance metrics information, analyses and recommendations that will drive the development and implementation of mid and long-term business infrastructure plans and investments. Financial Planning
• Lead the System (Region Office + Bottler ) Commercial Finance process
• Support the PH system in meeting its financial performance targets, with special focus on Economic Profit growth, managing the portfolio and drivers within it as appropriate.
• Develop and track an adequate set of financial Key Business Indicators (KBIs) that better translates the Coke System ability to achieve its goals and maintain financial health.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and provide management with the best thinking of potential performance against targets. Evaluates the logic and consistency of forecasts and recommend adjustments when needed.
• Interpret financial and economic analyses to determine business implications, and make decisions based on results of financial analysis considering the broader implications to the business.
• Provide financial perspective as a team member on projects that are focused on building and/or improving the internal operation of the business (e.g., human resources, business process redesign, systems development).
• Support the volume forecasting processes by facilitating interaction between Marketing, Operations, Customers and Finance.
• Ensure appropriate evaluation of Opex and propose / implement recommendations to
capture efficiency opportunities.
• Take an active role in the implementation and permanent search of financial process efficiencies
• Lead / ensure the implementation of several business transformation initiatives across the PH System.
System Economics
• Support Bottler’s restructuring initiatives to ensure they deliver the targeted outcomes.
• Estimate and track the System value sharing between TCCEC and BIG.
• Support System Management on Pricing, DME, Capital Investments, Business Acquisitions and key negotiations
• Support interaction between region Office and Bottlers in the development and execution of regular business processes.
• Extend the use of key economic indicators to provide relevant information to KO System
• Ensure the implementation of a robust system profitability process and integration into Global initiatives such SPM/VCM.
Merge & Acquisitions
• Provide high level of financial support to acquisition projects (brand & business acquisitions). Involves developing an understanding of country and operating environments, key value drivers, economic assumptions, tax and legal implications and assessment and incorporation of relevant risk factors.
• Participate in acquisitions, focusing primarily on support valuation and due diligence process, to determine the effect of investment or divestment decisions on a divisions’ business strategy.
• Perform discounted cash flow, scenario analyses and business valuation analyses for potential acquisition. Summarize valuation results and effectively communicate results of analyses to Group and Corporate. Assist in formulating recommendations.
• Establish and maintain relationships across organization to facilitate cross functional participation in project evaluation.
• Interact with internal and external constituents to obtain thorough understanding of business levers and strategic objectives.
• Coordinate with Corporate M&A negotiation strategies and play a role in negotiations as needed
• Support SFAS 142 (impairment test) process to ensure company assets are properly accounting for and anticipate any potential write-off.
Business Initiatives Support
• Participate in the development and prioritization of business strategies and plans with cross-functional teams based on results of assessment (e.g., SWOT-Based Strategic Planning) in order to create preliminary objectives/goals.
• Ensure all projects and initiatives are properly researched, financially evaluated and then resourced and managed.
• Provide a performance-enhancing and profit-contributing cross-functional commercial and operational advisory service across the System.
• Applies in-depth knowledge and experience in overseeing the System financial business
