A Chair in Microeconomics (ECO9)
The Department of Economics invites applications for a Chair in Microeconomics. To fulfil the needs of the Department's structured Ph.D. programme, candidates must have experience in graduate-level formal instruction and doctoral supervision as well as a strong academic publication record.
Candidates should have an excellent research record in microeconomics. All fields will be considered, for example general equilibrium theory, information economics, contract theory, game theory, industrial organization, public economics, network economics. The successful candidate will teach in the microeconomics sequence of the Department.
The Department promotes gender equality and cultural diversity. Contracts are for five years, renewable for a further three years.
