Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving from banks, and checking for correctness, card requests / applications on a daily basis via excel spreadsheet or application through Card Management web portal.
- Sending E-Files first and second deliveries. This is the card process tracking (CPT) report which is to be delivered on a daily basis, containing information on new card orders, clearly indicating in each order, the steps taken until the PINs have finally been collected by the banks.
- Embossing which consists of creating INX files to send to the card production team.
- PIN and Reprint production, including enveloping and distribution to banks.
- Card refresh file (CRF) which is done to update any changes that might have been made on card holders by the banks and makes updates either for new or old cards.
- End of Day which is done to close the operational day of the banks , and send the bank file that contains the electronic banking transactions which have occurred during the day by card holders or bank clients.
- Generate monthly transaction report issued by the Card Management system which shows all the inter and intra bank transactions that occurred during the month.
- Weekly or on demand reports on PIN Mailer stock inventory.
- Submission of any other scheduled or on demand reports.
- Responding promptly to internal and external customer inquiries that fall within your department.
- Handle and resolve internal and external customer complaints that fall within your department.
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
- Learn about RSwitch’ s products and services and keep up to date with changes.
- Keep ahead of developments in card management systems by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending courses.
- Any other duties that may from time to time be required or assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Hold a high education diploma or degree in IT.
- Have a good knowledge of Electronic banking and card management· Have excellent time management skills.
- Be fluent in English oral and written on a professional level.
- French is considered beneficial.
- Willing to work in shifts when need for this arises.
- Be able to work independently and reliable as per the standards set in the procedures and work instructions of RSwitch.
- Communicate with other departments within RSwitch on a cordial and professional manner.
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Outlook 2010 and Office 2010 Excel and Office 2010 Word are mandatory and subject to test.
- Professional appearance and capable of communicating with the various banks counterparts on a professional and courteous manner.
- Due to nature of work, person has to be flexible; while at the same time have attention for detail.
- Must be Rwandan.
