About this Job: | Abt Associates, an international development organization that provides technical assistance, research, analysis, and practical training services in more than 128 countries, seeks candidates for an education project in Uganda that focuses on HIV/AIDS education and prevention, particularly among youth and teachers. Please note: all positions are contingent on successful award of a proposal. Behavior Change Communication Advisor (Based in Kampala) - Oversee the design, implementation and evaluation of behavior change communication (BCC) activities
- Provide technical support and oversight to the community mobilization team to ensure effective design and delivery of outreach efforts.

Requirement: | Qualifications include: - Masters degree required in public health, communications, marketing, social work and community development, or other related field;
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience in behavior change and project management, preferably with USAID-funded projects;
- Expertise in communication campaign design and implementation using a variety of communication channels;
- Ability to coordinate across various activities and teams in a dynamic environment;
- Advanced written/oral skills in English; and Knowledge of local languages preferred;
- Ability to travel within Uganda as needed.
