It is the North American affiliate of the World Economic Forum, a non-profit foundation based in Geneva, Switzerland, under the supervision of the Swiss Federal Government.
As a result of the successful growth of our organization, we are now searching for:
Associate Director, Private Investors, Investors Industry Team You will provide support and membership services to the World Economic Forum’s Investors Industry community, which encompasses venture capital and private equity firms, hedge funds, institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds. You will act as the primary interface between our organization and key industry sector contacts, including CEOs, corporate senior executives and subject matter experts to coordinate their involvement in events and engagement in a range of task forces and initiatives. Your primary responsibilities will be as follows: · You will establish, manage and develop new members and partners within the Investors Industry community, including developing expertise to create meaningful content for our members and partners, coordinating potential projects and initiatives, and supporting relevant Global Agenda Councils. · You will contribute to the development of a “value proposition” for the relevant industry community. · You will combine knowledge of the industry’s specific technical details with the ability to step back and pursue the big picture for both industry and society at large. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of bringing multiple stakeholders together through your intellectual capabilities, passion and integrity. You also have the ability and willingness to serve members and colleagues and the ability to work in a team. This is essential to work at the World Economic Forum USA and within the Investors Industry in particular. In addition, you have clearly demonstrated leadership capabilities and excellence in the field of business, and a proven interest in global affairs. You will possess a broad intellectual background with a Master’s degree and a minimum of five years of work experience in the Investors Industry. You must demonstrate research, organizational, meeting and presentation skills. Strong command of English and ideally, at least one other language, is preferred. |
