PIH/IMB is seeking to recruit a Manager to fill the position of a Women's Health Program Manager.

LOCATION: Rwinkwavu with frequent travel to Butaro and Kirehe
Purpose of the Role
The Women's Health Manager is responsible for implementing a unified strategy for improving women's health at all levels of the district health system. I le or she will work with the women's health department to develop and strengthen clinical programs in maternal and child health, family planning, gynaecology, and women care in the three districts where Pill is active. The person will coordinate the preparation of annual work plans and operational planning for various programmatic activities, manage the budget, participate in the development of clinical protocols and training materials, and provide technical and programmatic support to district MOH teams
Specific responsibilities:
- Develop annual work plans and budgets for women's health department.
- Act as budget holder—monitoring progres of work-plan and managing expenses against budget
- Lead health facility assessments to identify programmatic barriers to delivery of quality women's health care and to evaluate the organization and functioning of women's health services.
- Provide technical and programmatic support to district reproductive health supervisors working with health centers
- Work closely with the Mentorship & Enhances Supervision at Health centers (MESH) Program at IMB, to coordinate our intervention at the health center
- Assist in the development and strengthening of clinical services, including integrated family planning, cervical and breast cancer screen, diagnosis and treatment of STIs at MOH collaboration sites.
- Coordinate efforts to ensure that health centers have resources, including equipment and medicines, to deliver high quality services.
- Coordinate clinical activities, screening campaigns, and other activities.
- Assist in the establishment of integrated women's health services at the district health and health center level.
- Develop strong relationships with district and local authorities, health center titulaires, and district program coordinators.
- Work closely with district authorities and health facility leaders in developing policies and work plans to improve service and population health indicators.
- Coordinate the development of a comprehensive community-based model for women's health care
- Identify training needs and collaborate with the women's health department and training departments to plan didactic and clinical training activities for health personnel.
- Assist Women's Health Department in developing and implementing clinical protocols and training materials to improve delivery of care.
- Monitor and evaluate key women's health indicators in the district.
- Provide clear financial and programmatic reports for stakeholders – managers, donors and partners
- Work closely to integrate women's health services with broader efforts for women's social and economic empowerment and respect of women's rights.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- Bachelors degree in Management, Psychology, Social Sciences, Nursing or Public Health
- 3years working experience in a I lealth Project
- lyear working in a Research Project
- Proficiency in English or French
- Proficiency in Word and Excel, plus willingness to learn new softwares.

- Flexible to work across several locations
