- Maintain and update GIS data sets and related information including production of mapping products for internal and external use.
- Assist production manager.
- Maintain and update GIS data sets and related information including production of mapping products for internal and external use.
- GIS data creation, maintenance, updating and quality control/quality assurance.
- GIS data entry, attributing, and metadata creation.
- GIS map production and output; conducting research.
- Reading and interpretation of maps, blueprints, survey documents and sketches.
- Global positioning system (GPS) data collection and coordination with field staff.
- General PC troubleshooting and ordering of computer-related supplies.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Petroleum engineering, drilling and completion or the related.
- At least 5-year related working experience.
- Knowledge of basic petroleum engineering.
- Knowledge to utilize ESRI’s ArcGIS software products
- Familiarity with GPS technology, data collection, integration with GIS software
- Ability to integrate GIS into operation work flows for the oil and gas industry
- Familiarity with general PC hardware and software troubleshooting, including assistance to township PC users when necessary.
- Professional, open, honest and a clear communicator, Enthusiastic learner, recognizing the need to experience a broad range of GIS service provision
- Excellent analyzing and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
- Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines and work cooperatively with other employees and departments.
- Excellent team player.
- Highly motivated and achievement orientated.
- Prefer to overseas and offshore oil field working experience.
