REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR PROVISION OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) invites expressions of interest to provide business development services for food assistance programs that support country-led hunger solutions. The short term contract work will include partnership development and funding proposal management for upcoming projects in Africa, Asia and Central America. Moderate travel required.
The ideal candidates will have experience in: • food security or nutrition programming; • social protection and safety nets; • food and agricultural value chains; • relationship development with international public sector donors and vertical funds; • direct business development experience with UN-agencies or the international non-profit sector; and • demonstrable success managing funding proposal submissions for competitive and non-competitive grants.
