Restless Development in Tanzania aims to be the global banner carrier for youth-led development – demonstrating at the grassroots and policy levels that young people can and must play a lead role in development. Our organisation has expanded and evolved as demand for our youth-led work has grown. Restless Development in Tanzania is seeking a short term HR Projects Intern to support the Country Director as well as members of the management committee on specific HR projects over the coming three months.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, confident and articulate in their approach, with strong attention to detail. Good writing and editing skills are essential. Previous experience in the areas of Human Resource, recruitment or training and development is desirable. The internship is to start by 8 August for ten weeks, and is proposed to require 3 days per week (the specific days to be agreed with the successful candidate).

Key duties: supporting coordination of HR projects
Supporting the Country Director by:
- Updating HR files for existing staff and collating health and safety information
- Updating induction packs
- Updating health and safety records
- Producing draft job descriptions for review and sign off
- Producing recruitment packs for new posts
- Coordinating all advertising, enquiries and applications for posts
- Scheduling and coordination of interviews with candidates and staff members
Other Duties
Other duties may be required from time to time, including responsibilities which require work on weekends and holidays for which time off in lieu may be taken.
