Duties & Responsibilities
1. Drive staff members safely to various destinations as required.
2. Collect and drive VIPs and visiting staff from the hotel/FO to and from the airport.
3. Assist in collecting and delivering documentation/goods when required.
4. Carry out daily inspection of ICC vehicles: check all oil, water, coolant levels, tyre pressure and safety
accessories and first aid kit. Proper day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle
- keep it clean, both inside
and outside; ensure vehicle is fuelled.
5. Conduct minor car repairs
- change light assembly, fuses, replace damaged hoses, windshield wipers, etc.
5. Participate in special driving operations.
6. Any other duties as assigned by the Field Office Manager.
Essential Qualifications
1. Completion of secondary school.
2. At least two years of work experience as a driver.
3. Valid driver#s licence; clean driving record; knowledge of driving rules and regulations and skills in minor
vehicle repair.
4. Good communication skill to understand and follow the instructions both in French and Sango.
KNOWLEDGE OF LANGUAGES
Fluency in English and Swahili is essential. Knowledge of another official language of the Court would be
considered and asset (Arabic, Chinese, English, Russian, Spanish).
