WCS is seeking applicants for the position of Finance and Administration Coordinator for the WCS-Southern Sudan Program.
Key Responsibilities
This is a full-time position responsible for administrative and financial procedures, representation in HR and administrative meetings/forums and with national authorities, training and mentoring of personnel, and ensuring sound financial and administration systems implementation following donor and WCS requirements. The position will be based primarily in Juba, Southern Sudan, with occasional travel to field sites as required. The Finance and Administration Coordinator reports to the WCS Southern Sudan Program Manager and Program Director.
Qualifications
The desired qualifications for this position are at least 3 years experience working with NGOs in Africa specifically on administrative procedures, finance, human resources, and management issues. Knowledge of financial guidelines of major funding institutions (USAID, UN, EU, etc.) an advantage. Experience and ability to work with national organizations and authorities, and training of local staff. Proven ability to work well in a team in multi-cultural situations under difficult conditions is essential. Fluency in written and spoken English required.
