Development Co-ordination Manager

The successful candidate will ensure Johannesburg Water's interests are protected.
Key responsibilities: * Provide engineering assessment and approval with regard to new
townships, DFAs and less formal townships * Approve site development plans and represent
Johannesburg Water * Assist in setting policies and standards for the control of development
within the City of Johannesburg, in the interest of Johannesburg Water * Manage and mentor
staff carrying out Development Control functions.
Requirements and experience: * A minimum of a National Diploma (Civil Engineering)
* 5 years' experience in the development control field * Knowledge of water and sewer systems
* Knowledge and the application of relevant acts, ordinances and schemes governing
developments * A valid driver's licence.
