TB Project Data Officer
In this role, the successful candidate will focus on TB database management, ensuring that it is integrated with national and provincial TB databases, and the generation of reports for databases. He/she will: * Assist in developing GIS formats for analysing and presenting TB project data * Assist in providing monitoring data to strategically inform decisions on project performance * Provide technical assistance to project staff, Department of Health (DoH) counterparts, as well as collaborating NGOs in the development of intervention-specific M&E databases for their M&E plans * Assist in the review, revision and implementation of the M&E functions of the TB Project Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP) * Assist in internal Project M&E systems to collect, capture, analyse and present data used to measure key performance indicators of the project processes and activities * Participate in conducting internal data quality audits, including verification of captured data in the database * Perform any other related duties as identified by the Director for M&E and the Chief of Party.
Requirements: * A post-Matric diploma in Information Systems or a related field * Familiarity with databases used in public health programmes, such as Access, Epi Info and CSPro * Training and/or experience in using GIS software * At least 1 year's working experience in a USAID- or PEPFAR-funded project. Salaries will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
