Job details |
- Ensure that budgeted sales targets are achieved while protecting existing revenue streams
- Ensure proper sales procedures are followed from lead generation to execution
- Manage and report daily / weekly sales activities in an agreed format
- Achieve monthly / quarterly / annual sales quotas as budgeted by Management
- Build sound relationships and references within the enterprise, SMB, Government and NGO business segments in the respective region
- Ensure effective prospecting to activity ratio
- Help design and manage customer acquisition strategies to achieve budgeted targets
- Make sure customers receive their first invoice in a timely manner and manage entire process until collection (one time activity for a new customer)

Experience |
- Minimum five years working experience in B2B sales to the regional market with a proven track record
- Relevant industry experience

Required qualifications |
- B.com, BSc in Business Administration
- Industry specific qualification is an added advantage
|
Skills |
- Excellent communication and strong negotiation skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Kiswahili (spoken)
- Ability to grasp the fundamentals of sales and manage sales cycle
- Ability to quickly grasp concepts, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Be a self driven, motivated, enthusiastic, positive and pleasant individual who is result oriented
- Ability to interface and communicate professionally and politely at all levels within a corporate environment
- Possess emotional maturity to be able to work with customers who may sometimes get upset
- Pay attention to detail to ensure all aspects of customer satisfaction are covered
- Be a team player and demonstrate the ability to work with various departments within the company to achieve the shared Vision
- Be proficient with basic computer applications as MS Office
- Ability to accurately report sales figures, trends and customer requirements
- Ability to assume responsibility for accuracy and timeliness of work product
- Ability to manage staff as well as facilitate change
- Be willing to work irregular hours, weekends and holidays as and when needed
