Grant Compliance Monitor
The successful candidate will be directly responsible for the administration of all aspects of URC-/USAID-funded TB Programme awards to local organisations in South Africa. He/she will be the primary point of contact of all local Grantees from pre-award to closeout and will work closely with URC Headquarters Programme and Contracts staff and, in reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Administration in South Africa, he/she will provide regular reports regarding grant activity and management. In addition, he/she will ensure that Grantees are in compliance with USAID/US federal regulations, Generally Accepted Accounting Policies and Procedures (GAAP) and URC's grant guidelines and will ensure Grantees meet the goals and objectives of the grant.
Requirements: * A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration and at least 3 years' experience in pre- and post-award grants administration * Knowledge of grant proposal writing * The ability to work under pressure, give attention to detail and manage multiple projects, tasks and deadlines * Experience in MS Office, Word and Excel * Experience in using accounting and financial reporting systems * The willingness to travel within South Africa * Leadership skills * Demonstrated good organisational skills * The professionalism and ethics to maintain confidentiality * Demonstrated experience in exercising discretion and sound judgement * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
